This is not a “normal” Christmas Eve. The copier was not running overtime. In fact, the office is closed. I did not wake up really early, worried if everything would be ready in time and go well. Actually, the candlelight worship service for this evening has already been recorded and is available to view on YouTube.
But, for folks who wanted and were able to spend a few quiet moments in the sanctuary on Christmas Eve, I lovingly spent a couple hours being available for those who came and went. It was a glorious time with candles lit, recorded music, and lights down low. I am so thankful to have this time!
May your reflection on Jesus’ birth from wherever you are, and its importance for the world, bring you peace and joy.
