Day #2243

February 21, 2020

What happens when the Synod Council comes together to meet? Stories are shared. There is worship. “Business” decisions are made. Reports are received. New friends are met and reconnections are made. We pray, laugh, discuss, listen, and talk. In other words, it really is much like a congregation council meeting.

At this meeting, two questions were asked of us: what would you be doing if you weren’t here; what gift do you bring to this table. As we shared our answers to the second question, we were reminded that all of us have gifts given to us by God. And when those gifts are brought together to be used to build up the Kingdom of God, wonderful things can happen. I am thankful to be a part of this council and hope my gift will help in ways that God, and the synod, needs.

Blessings.
