I am overwhelmed with the response to the question I mentioned in Day #2230! During the sermon, folks were invited to write down just one way they see the congregation as salt and light in the world.
I didn’t quite know what sort of participation to expect. I am awed and grateful - most of the folks responded. What they wrote included everything from lots of cars parked around the building on Sunday morning witness to faithful worship to prayer for others to being good listeners to giving time and money to ministries for the hungry and poor to welcoming ALL.
WOW!! What an amazing response and what a gift that folks can see the ways God needs and uses us in the world! Thanks be to God!!
