Had a conversation about dealing with stress. The question was: what have you found to be the best way to slow down, calm down, or deal with feeling overwhelmed?
One idea that resonated with me: when the warning signs of stress arise (loss of patience, frustration, etc), then stop, breath, remember something to be thankful for, and take a moment to pray.
Something tells me this reminder might come in very handy in these last days of Lent heading into Holy Week. Just saying. :-)
