Life is not always easy. Let's be honest, some days there seem to be a multitude of ups and downs, highs and lows. Good news and bad news come almost together, or in a matter of minutes. And sometimes the bad news is really, really bad!
What do we do in the midst of those times, those days? How can we hold on when bad news just keeps coming? We simply keep praying and trusting. Jesus spoke of that in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 18, verse 1: Then Jesus told them a parable to show them they should always pray and not lose heart. (NET)
God is always ready and willing to hear our prayers. God is always present with us. Simply, God is always. Thanks be to God for that - and for the hope God brings!
