Seeing the pictures of all the devastation from Hurricane Matthew is heartbreaking. The lives lost in Haiti and the US, and the homes damaged/destroyed by water and flooding, breaks my heart. There are many ways to help (thrivent.com and Lutheran Disaster Response are two), and prayers are certainly with everyone affected!
Meanwhile, here, there was the Blessing of the Animals. What a comfort pets can be - they are truly family. And what a joy to bless them and their owners/caretakers (wish I had pictures!). Each pet received this, however.
What a fun time!
