We spent time today and yesterday on Zoom for the annual Bishop’s Convocation. We learned and talked about many things, but the main focus was our style of leadership as pastors. We all know the last couple of years have been different and challenging. We were reminded that how we lead, and how we adapt to leading, can make a difference in the angst or joy of the congregation to which we are called.
With all that said, and while the information was good, it was difficult for many to hear who have suffered during this time without much support or encouragement. I am grateful, so grateful, to serve where I do, because I have definitely been supported and encouraged. Thanks be to God - and prayers for those who are hurting and ready to quit.
