What a great way to spend the day!
First, certainly, is worship. And a reminder of the four parts to the service: gather, word, meal, send. It’s important to come together from the things of the week for the purpose of worship and renewal, to hear the word, to receive the meal of Holy Communion, and be sent - renewed and refreshed - back out to the week and the world.
Then to have part of that "sending" be to enjoy some time at home - cooking, baking, and my husband - just tops off a great day!!
