When I first met my friend who is visiting, she was an intern in seminary, and the thought of me becoming a pastor wasn’t even on my radar. Decades later, we have now become colleagues, as well as friends. This means we have added a whole new dimension to our friendship. Talking “shop” has been wonderful.
God does work in mysterious ways!
