When you do what I do, you never know what a single day might bring. A simple phone call itself can bring about a drastic change in a schedule that may have changed several times already. It certainly keeps life interesting.
So when this day went from planning and writing to a funeral to a graduation party and then to some exercise and some more writing, I’m reminded of just how varied this type of call can be. I am thankful, however, for the diversity. And I know, and am comforted, that no matter what, I’m not alone. Thanks be to God for that promise!
