Rick Steves, the travelogue guru from many PBS specials, is a Lutheran. That may not be news, but it’s pretty cool. Especially when he made available to all ELCA congregations his DVD on “Luther and the Reformation.” And we made good use of his generosity when several enjoyed a good time of learning and fellowshipping following worship by watching his work. And some really fine work it is!
And then later in the day, an information meeting about the upcoming 2018 ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston, TX. Oh, my hopes are high that some will be able to attend what most certainly will be an amazing experience.
Yes, lots happening. Busy. And all good stuff!!!
