This from Richard Rohr’s Daily Meditation is certainly worthy of sharing. It’s the refrain of a song by Father James Marchionda that Richard shared:
It’s not up to God alone to listen to prayer.
It’s not up to God alone to answer.
But when the people of God become what we pray,
the kingdom of God is revealed.
Being the hands and feet of God - that’s our calling. Wow - what a privilege and a burden, right!?! Prayer is certainly powerful!
