The weather prediction is that a storm is headed our way, bringing really cold temps and snow. It looks like the highs will be below zero for a few days, with several inches of the white stuff. So today is a good one to be out and about, running errands, enjoying some time together, fulfilling plans.
And in the days ahead, prayers for all those who suffer from weather extremes. And thanksgiving for those who actually do something for others, like the woman who paid for motel rooms for dozens in the latest cold snap in the midwest (see Rooms for the Homeless). What an amazing, loving, kind and unselfish thing to do - and what an inspiration!
