What fun to see pictures of children enjoying a day to honor a special author - Dr. Seuss - on what would have been his birthday. So on this day, I offer this:
To be a poet is a gift, for sure
To be one for children, a gift most pure
Green eggs and ham, Cat in the Hat, the Places You’ll Go
All books everyone should lucky enough be to know
Thank you, Dr. Seuss, for bringing us smiles
May your words, your thoughts, your insights take us miles.
