A prayer on my heart today:
Almighty God, one of the things humans have little to no control over is the weather. We are at the mercy of the wind and rain, snow and hail, sun and clouds, warmth and cold. While you promised by your covenant to never again destroy the earth by flood, at times it seems as though there is too much moisture - or as devastating, not enough. May we trust you to care for us in all the seasons and may we have the strength and stamina to withstand the cold and/or the heat. Lord, please also watch over all those who are unprotected or must work outside in brutal conditions. Through Christ we pray. Amen.
