It is probable I have said something like this before, but it is truly holy ground to sit with a family grieving a death. To hear the stories, honor the memories, and simply be invited to share in those raw and vulnerable moments is definitely a place of intersection where God is in the life - and the death. A reminder to trust that in the midst of it all, God IS present and grieves right along with us.
